Bluesvan, by Attila Horváth

(in Hungarian + personal note from the author in English)

Electrophonics 2001-ben Dél-Hollandiában alakult. A banda létrejöttekor a tagok kello zenei tapasztalattal rendelkeztek, hisz elotte mindegyikük különbözo zenekarban játszott.

Az elso, 2006 elején Feels Like A Million címmel megjelent CD-jük a sajtó és a közönség részérol határozottan pozitív kritikát kapott. Második anyaguk, a következo évben kiadott Catch That Swingtrain a hollandiai Moulin Blues Fesztiválon adott musoruk felvételét tartalmazta.
Középtempós, tempós, táncra hívogató dalok váltogatják egymást a korai 50-évek retro – swing – jump - r&b stílusában. Az I Wanna Hold You Stephan Hermsen kromatikus szájharmonika, valamint Ivo Sieben finom zongorajátéka miatt emlékezetes. A Bumpin At The Summertime , mely egy nagyzenekari darab, Ronald Roodbol basszus intrójával kezdodik, a lemez csúcspontját számomra mégis a 2007-es lemez címadó dala, a Catch That Swingtrain jelenti.
Érdemes idot szánni a lemezre, meghálálja magát. Szerencsére beleunni sem lehet egykönnyen, mindenképp tartós élményt nyújt a zenehallgató számára!

A personal message from the author to us:

I inform you very happily, that the criticism of the CD is ready. It's very good!!! I really like on your new record, the songs which invite for a dance with middle tempo and tempo, which were written in the retro – swing – jump - r&b of the 50s. For me the I Wanna Hold You is memorable because of the chromatic mouth organ play of Stephan Hermsen, as well as the delicate piano play of Ivo Sieben. I would emphasize the Bumpin At The Summertime big band piece, but the pitch of the record is the title giving song of the record from 2007, the Catch That Swingtrain. But from the other compositions also just positive things can be said!

„It is worth to dedicate time for the record, it gratitude’s itself. Fortunately you can’t get bored of it easily, it offers permanent experience for the listeners!”
